TP4056-Module 1A Lithium Battery Charging Current Board

Introduction:

Lithium-ion battery module using TP4056 controller chip capacity, compact size only 28x21mm. may change depending on the current load of the users needs

Feature


  • Size: 28x21mm
  • Input voltage: 4.8 ~ 8.0 VDC
  • Load current: 1000mA Max (can adjust from 50 ~ 1000mA)
  • Power: Via USB port, or roughly the last 2 holes outside the IN + and IN-on board for DIY users
  • LED status indicator: red LED to time during charging, green LED to full charge.
  • Changing the charge: by changing the resistor value on pin 2 of IC TP4056 (See Table)
  • Output 4.2V, using 2-pin 1.5mm socket (compatible with HHS-603 450 (3.7V 1200mAh Lithium-Ion Polymer Battery ) and 2 holes for DIY users
Change resistor pin 2 of IC TP4065 (Rprog) to change the charge current (IBAT) in the following table:

Note: 
  • TP4056 is reverse polarity protected input (supply) but  not output Battery output reverse polarity protection , can damage the IC, so make sure battery polarity is connected correctly
  • The best way to calculate the charge current to the battery capacity battery is 0:37, for example, for the 1000mAH battery, 400mA load current is sufficient, if the charge is large enough voltage battery faster, but when the full voltage of the battery will quickly reduction, battery life is reduced
  • Wires connected to the battery charger should not be too small or too long, the battery voltage will decrease more
  • If the input voltage> 5V, 5.2V or even eg 5.5 V, the maximum load current will not reach 1000mA, this is normal. When the input voltage increases, the IC will generate heat, the load is automatically reduced, but did not damage the chip, about 60 o C IC normal working
